Had the same problem with my last grow. I didnt flush though, my case was not that bad. I just cut off the 3 or 4 leaves that were burned and the problem went away.

Stretching occurs when the plant needs more light. Since your doing your thing outdoors you won't need to worry about that. Normally about double is the rule of thumb, like canefan said. Good luck bro!

I always drop the N when flowering, then decrease amounts slowly throughout flower phase. Last 2 or 3 weeks dont give mine any N.
