Do I need to have an intake if I am only using part of the room?

I was mistaken about the carbon filter and fan. This is the pair I have here: http://htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=52609 I have a small peice of 6 duct connected my flowing and veg rooms, and a 6" duct going from the veg to flower rooms. Everything is light-proof, however the 6mil...

Please help! My babies are dying!

The plants that stretched did so when my lights where higher. I have had them 1-2" from the plants for the past several days now... Everything was doing great, now my plants all look significantly worse then they did just 12 hours ago... Now they are yellowing, and appear to be wilting? And I...

Please help! My babies are dying!

Hello, This is my fist grow... things where going well, 12 hours ago all plants looked great. Green and healthy. I have been watering my plants twice a day (by misting them and their soil, 2-3 sprays each plant) under 5 23 Watt CFL. I came in to check my plants a few minutes ago and to my...

Do I need to have an intake if I am only using part of the room?

Would it be recommended to put a few inch piece of dryer vent on the floor through the tarps to create a dedicated path for incoming air? The 462CFM inline fan is pretty heavy overkill, from what I've read other people recommending it would have been sufficient for a much larger room and much...

Do I need to have an intake if I am only using part of the room?

I am setting up a flowering area aproximately 10'x5' that I plan on running two 600 Watt HPS. I am exhausting outside using a 462CFM inline fan that's pulling through a carbon filter. The flowering area will not be air tight (using black tarp nailed/vecro'd to a makeshift wall frame). What...

Please help! Seedlings falling over! Can I use my 400W MH? When should I transplant?

Put 5 of the CFL's on the plants last night, today (about 16 hours later) the plants all have turned towards the nearest CFL, and picked themselves up considerably. All of the plants have seen a considerable increase in leaf growth (including the start of the 3rd and 4th real leaves on the two...

How large of an area can a 400W Metal Halide cover?

Two 600 Watt Eye Hortilux 88,000 Lumen bulbs to flower a 3'x3' area? I think you may be a bit confused... there's no way that would make any sense at all.

How large of an area can a 400W Metal Halide cover?

From Things to know about lighting: So with 2x 600 Watt Eye Hortilux Bulbs, at ~ 88,000 lumens each, I can adequately light a 17.6 Square foot area? And does this also apply to a scrog? Thanks again for the information and advice, I have been reading the forums, often for an hour or two at a...

Please help! Seedlings falling over! Can I use my 400W MH? When should I transplant?

So it would be better to run 6 23W CFLs? I picked up some Y light socket adapters (to run 2 bulbs on each socket), clip on project lights, and a 6 pack of 23W 6500K CFLs today at Lowes.

Anyone bought seeds recently and have any reccomendations about where to buy them?

Thanks for the advice, I ordered from Attitude and got my seeds in less than a week. All 10 seeds I germinated have sprouted and are doing amazingly well.

How large of an area can a 400W Metal Halide cover?

Anyone? I could really use some advice, as my grow room plans are on hold until I can figure out what size area my 400W MH and 600W HPS lights can cover and I have seedlings that will be ready for some real lights in a week or two. Thanks in advance!

How large of an area can a 400W Metal Halide cover?

I am using a 400W Metal Halide to do my vegging with, and was curious what size of a area is that capable of vegging? Is it big enough for a 3'x5' veg area? I also have 2x 600 Watt HPS lights for flowering, and was wondering what size area they will be able to amply cover? Is there a way to...

Please help! Seedlings falling over! Can I use my 400W MH? When should I transplant?

I considered that, but wouldn't it cause a lot more stretching of my plants if I did that?

Please help! Seedlings falling over! Can I use my 400W MH? When should I transplant?

Hello, This is my first grow, I have 6 seedlings in soil that have sprouted over the last week. Two are very small (recently sprouted) and the other 4 that sprouted earlier range from 3" to 1.5" in height. A couple of my taller ones are starting to "fall over", I assume this is from the stem...

Is air circulation needed for vegging in a 4'x'4' closet with a 400w MH?

Thanks for the advice and recommendations! With just a 400 Watt Metal Halide a cooltube and additional inline fans seems like a bit overkill to me (though it would be nice to have for sure). The closet I am wanting to use for veg will not be air tight (it can pull cooler air from the room)...

See I was considering Attitude, but I read a lot of mixed reviews about their delivery times and genetics. Some people praise them and some people feel they are a flat out scam...
