    Propane Vapor Assist

@Fadedawg maybe you could chime in? It would be much appreciated.

    Propane Vapor Assist

I will eventually be getting an extra tank for recovery, and plumbing a tee to my solvent tank vapor port for future vapor assistance use. I figure I can use the tank from refinedhydrocarbons for the vapor assist. It is just a single valve with a dip tube. Maybe I could use this to pull a vacuum...

    Propane Vapor Assist

-43.6F is the boiling point of propane. My system will be vaccumed down, I am talking about using my solvent tank as my recovery tank as well. I've heard most people using 3 tanks for a passive system. One for vapor assist, another for solvent tank, and the last for recovery. I could pull a...

    Propane Vapor Assist

I'm currently running an MKIVc passively and have only done crude oil batches at this point in time. I am on the verge of doing my first pass at -20F with a 70/30 butane/propane mixture. I am wondering if the propane in the mix will have enough vapor pressure to push the liquid gas through the...

    MKIVc knockoff recovery question

Was just the first step and have not got around to doing a positive pressure test. I guess that's where it really counts, as we don't want to be leaking gas. But yes, I'm planning on running nitrogen through the system. Thanks for looking out.

    MKIVc knockoff recovery question

@Fadedawg Ran a negative pressure test and it held -30" hg for about 3-4 hours, let it sit overnight and about 24 hours later was around -28.5" hg. Is this sufficient? Also was wondering if one TRS-21 pump would be efficient or if it's not even worth the money for the meantime. If it's not...

    MKIVc knockoff recovery question

I am building a Terpp extractors MKIVc knockoff and will be running passive in the meantime before acquiring a Haskell ext-420 or a CMEP-OL. I noticed the MKIVc has 3/8" recovery line that reduces to 1/4" to connect to pumps like the trs-21 and then to the 1/4" ports on the yellow DOT recovery...

Closed Column worth it? (Higher yield?)

Exactly what hashman said. Plus, who wants to smoke the mystery oil out of those cans anyway.

    Best, most POTENT strains

Tahoe OG, LA Confidential, or Pre 98 bubba would be one of my first choices for sleep and pain. As long as the bud's trichomes are at 50% amber or more, most indica strains should have these effects. ^ Sonoma Coma is a good one as well.
