The plants are only 3 weeks old the undergrowth i am referring to are potentially bearers of big buds (colas). However overall verdict is let them be so lesson learned and I may just look at the lst option instead.

All I'm saying it they are blocking out light to all undergrowth. Sometimes the you have to weigh up the pros and cons. But point taken

I have noticed the huge fan leaves are restricting light to alot of the new undergrowth on some of the ladies. Now under normal circumstances with a regular photo plant I would simply remove the odd leaf. Is this a wise idea with autos ? They are currently 3 weeks old . Half indica dominant...

Iv combated them in the past by just spraying pure water. They hate it.

Thanks for the input yeah the pots feel pretty heavy especially the one with the little runt in. I was leaning toward over watering theory until I noticed just a single claw leaf on another plant today. Anyway iv skipped watering today and may skip tomorrow depending on how they look.

I use smart pots and agree they can dry out unevenly but the solution is to water less at a time but more frequently. Another issue I have found with these pots is that they require a stand of some sort or crate to keep them elevated out of the saucer otherwise they can be sat in run off and...

I wouldn't use cardboard as humidity my prove as a problem. Also it's difficult not to get any spillages when watering especially if your as clumsy as me. As for sound insulation polestyrene works wonders. Ona gel is a great oder neutraliser just make sure it isn't inside your grow box/tent but...
