    tbh i don't think there is going to be an issue with voltage because the thermostat is apparently really designed to control room temp, so would be turning on and off a central heating system which i'm certain would be higher voltage than the small tube heater i want it to control. i just don't...

    i'm not sure of voltage but the heater i want the thermostat to control is 240watts . reason i bought this thermostat was becuase from what i read in reviews was that it was very basic....and i only want to control 1 tube heater thought it sounded perfect. obviously not basic enough for me!

    not sure if this is what you mean bro but this is the front of thermostat so would i go something like live from mains to 1. live from heater to 2....and neutrals to the N N ports? I really didn't realise i was so clueless with electrics!

    hi, apologies if wasn't clear .this is pic of inside of thermostat. at the moment the heater cable just plugs straight into mains and is on timer . but i would like to make so thermostat controls it to only come on when necessary.
