Yes very similar to indoors. Except you are using the sun as your light. Better than any hps I would have to say. I use the floro for extended photoperiod during summer/and winter months.

Yeah I feel you guys on the high temps in CA I get mid 90's to 100's in the summer. Got my green house all hooked up for my summer crop. It stays cool enough in there for the plants with a window a/c and 70 percent shade cloth. But it's still f'ing hot. Had problems getting them started this...

Also if you live in southern exposure a greenhouse is perfect with an a/c unit and shade cloth. I use my shade cloth on a regular basis . It is about 80 % and the plants do fine
