WTF's wrong with my pumpkins?! Novice,(pics) PLZ help

Pumpkin plants need to be about 2 months old before they can start setting fruit. It has been my experience that they are ~10 feet long when they get their first pumpkins.

never tried the miracle grow stuff so cant help you there. as to germinating seeds i use biodegradable starter pots with seed raising mix on a heating pad and a couple of fluro lights on top..it works for me i get between 90 an 100 % germination rate. those starter pots are great no need...

then you may need some bigger pots..:-) but dont knock the gutless coastal plain soil the photo below they are growing in it no work to it just plonked them in and water with powerfeed and seasol and they grow fine.. yes bending is fine outdoors

    Novice aussie pumpkin grower:advice? (pics)

it is the way it is with pumpkins, go out and pull of a male flower strip the outer flower of it leaving the stamen, find a female flower and lightly rub the male stamen into the centre of the female flower they have now had sex ,the flower will die and the little pumpkin should then start to grow.

the plant in my avatar is grown organically it went 3 lb dry why would you want to waste your money on high yielding synthetic nutrients
