yes they should do fine in that soil, they dont need much to grow dig the spot add some organic matter and plant give them lots of sun and lots of water and you will grow some good pumpkins...:-)

it aint just the Canadian postal service that is slow i think aus post has to be the worst in the world. i buy stuff from all over the world and it takes 3-5 days from Europe 5-7 days from America,and ten days to come from the other side of Australia my last order from hgs took 20 days...:-)

i have recieved my second order of seeds from hgs. i ordered the vintage mix and hash plant.wont be testing these till next season . but the others i got from hgs are going great....:-)

an update on the white heavens , they are starting to really kick along and may turn out to be some real nice plants...:-)

bl@%dy nice...west aussie myself.. have you tried the gel spikes yet.?get them from bunnings and they last 3 weeks without water a great back up in this dry climate....;-)

a little update after the storm has passed. the one next to the cacti in the center garden copped a flogin . but it should still do alright. i have included a couple of photos of the guard dog.wally is his name. he is a short legged jack Russell . which reminds me i had better get the whipper...

well i shut this little experiment down .letting them grow to big did not help me so i shut it down early and will have another go. i have put a pic of the buds up they could have gone longer .i hung them next to a 1 litre water bottle to give you an indication of the size. all in all i think it...
