Anybody have experience with ExHale CO2 bags?

If you have a small space, those bags actually work. I even looked into growing blue oyster mushrooms in 5gal buckets so I'd have something to munch on when they were done. Found 'MyCo2' boxes with the blue oysters and ran them a few times and they worked well enough. Grew some tasty shrooms...

My Amare, Hydroponics Hut, & SunCloak Grow

Thank you for the hospitality and the kind words Hybridway. It is always nice to be able to discuss our opinions in a positive constructive manner. How else are we able to grow as individuals? Pardon the pun :)

    Most Efficient LED Light

Hey BuddyColas! I already pulled up a seat! Still reading through it so gimme some time to get caught up. Shit is like binge watching seasons of Breaking Bad haha! Thanks for the heads up. Oh, and just incase ppl are wondering why there are white specs on my leaves... they are bran flakes from...

Oh no I woke up to this

It also says " use it with coco coir, compost or whatever" So, actually it can be used in both soil AND hydro. It is an excellent wicking substrate (capillary action) which is great for hydro and very porous which gives it a good moisture retaining properties with great drainage. I use it...

    Most Efficient LED Light

Whew! Just blew through the entire thread. I'm new here and have been lurking for a while. There is a lot of 'spirited' debate on who makes the 'best' or 'most efficient' panel and I must say these threads can get bumpy! Imagine for a moment what it would be like if the Olympics would award...

    Anodizing heatsinks

It is oxidation. It leaves a thin barrier between the heatsink and the air so it will not dissipate heat as efficiently. By how much? And is it even noticeable? Who knows until you measure it with an IR temp gun. It is $100 so the value will need to be weighed out. Just wanted to add...

    Anodizing heatsinks

If you don't mind scrubbing your raw aluminum down from time to time, anodizing will help prevent the oxidation from happening. And by thick or thin coat, did they mean hard anodizing vs standard anodizing?

Oh no I woke up to this

Those are grow stones made from recycled glass (says right on the bag). I use bags of this stuff. So, a 600w MH will fry a clone let alone a seedling. Plants at that stage will thrive under a small 13w CFL or LED 65w equivalent (the kind you get at your big box store). T5s are almost too much...

Seedlings have some kind of deficiency, but what? Help!

Keep an eye on the new growth. Also, how are your roots? Rock wool holds quite a bit of water so managing the root zone moisture at this stage can be a bit tricky. From your pic, the new growth appears to be healthy. If it is available to you, I would recommend a mycorrhizae inoculant to...

    spider mites

Depending on how deep into flowering you are, your best friend is a vacuum cleaner. A cheap hand held one with a very skinny nozzle to suck the bastards off. Then, find a place that sells predator mites. They won't get rid of your problem entirely, but if you knock them down with the vacuum...

Quick Question?? Quick Answer !! PICS

My first thought would be "Damn, I F@cked up!". Joking aside, could you enlighten us with what was done or not done the days before this condition? Over watering, under watering, or both? Are the pots sitting in standing water?

    Shiny spots with black dots

Thrips are a pain in the ass. Easy enough to kill though. Find an insecticide that contains Spinosad. It is a substance made by bacteria that is toxic to thrips. Monterey brand is what is available in my area. Hope this helps. Cheers!

    Plant Died During Flowering

Agreed Mr.BouncyBounce. If the trend can be observed, a better assessment of what caused the issue can be ascertained. Also, the color of your light can make it difficult to see the early signs of problems so have a white work light handy when you are looking at them. Overwatering can lead to...

    2nd Grow need some advice

Phoenix, When plants are happy, the new growth is vigorous, so I have always focused my attention on the new growth and how the overall plant is behaving. The new growth in the pics you posted appear to be healthy. Would you mind posting a picture of your fan and the way it is set up in...
