Please, need help identifying this bug on pictures

Have these bugs of unknown origin. Here the background: organic, SIP, no-till soil (first run soil) 10 gal fabric pots. Day 46 since the flip, OG kush, COB LEDs grow. They first appeared about a month ago as I noticed something scraping chlorophyll from upper leaves. There is just few of them...

    SIP thread -- (Sub-Irrigated Planter)

Is this considered normal practice to dry up sip? Will it start wicking again as soon as I add water? And yes, I used mykos when transplanted so perhaps I should not worry much at all?

    SIP thread -- (Sub-Irrigated Planter)

Not at home right now to snap picture but you got it right. The Rubbermaid Roughneck (10 gal) plastic tote is only 8" high as I'm limited to 5 feet from floor to ceiling. At the bottom of that tote I zigzagged 4" corrugated plastic drainage pipe and filled with perlite to the top of the bin. The...

    SIP thread -- (Sub-Irrigated Planter)

I have a question to the experts in regards to SIP and water roots growing in the water holding reservoir. Organic, no-till soil, no nutes, nothing just plain not ph water, as is from tap (around 8 ph). I add about 2.5 gal of water once per week and that is all they get. 45 days in veg so far...

Different voltage COBs on same string

Will it work? I have HLG-C185-1050B (190 volt max) and couple Vero 29SE in 69 volts version (C). I can't run third of the same kind, so can I add third Vero 29SE in 49 volt version (B)? I never seen anybody doing this, neither my search comes up with nothing.

    Heatsinks for DIY LED lamps

That is not true actually. Arctic Silver adhesive (the only one I can find available here), I just bought says >7.5 W/Mk. Where most of the pastes I see anywhere between 5-10. So there is no 10 fold difference between the paste and adhesive, it's a myth they both work just fine

COB VS SMD CREE - CXA 3070/CXB3590 vs 5W XP-G2

Where do you find such prices for Vero in Canada? So far I was only able to find cob led chips at digikey.

    Soft rock phosphate in no-till

The title of this thread is "Soft rock phosphate". Even noob like me knows the difference between soft and rock phosphate. So when someone replies to my thread without reading the title or even glancing at attached pictures and makes comments about heavy metals in blood and ground water which is...

    Soft rock phosphate in no-till

not sure where you find me being an aggressive dick, 100% the opposite actually. If pointing out that some people don't read what was posted in first place is being a dick, then whatever. My other thread about "raw kelp" got sideways into politics and other absolutely irrelevant nonsense but I...

    Soft rock phosphate in no-till

I searched this section but not much comes up for soft rock phosphate. Little background - I have 1 grow under my belt where I experienced calcium deficiency. It wasn't no-till but coco/compost/ewc with kelp, alfalfa, bat guano and PBP Grow/Bloom. This time I'm going all organic no-till soil...

Raw, cold pressed liquid kelp as substitute for kelp meal

So if I spray roots with this liquid kelp while transplanting wouldn't that equal to application of kelp meal in soil? Or if I apply liquid kelp with waterings wouldn't it soak the soil and have same effect? And if I use liquid kelp in worm bin should I use it as is without dilution. May be a...

Raw, cold pressed liquid kelp as substitute for kelp meal

This product is not cheap. $20 per liter or $60 per gallon. The whole idea is to avoid buying second dry kelp meal product (I don't have dry kelp meal on hand) and only use this.

Raw, cold pressed liquid kelp as substitute for kelp meal

I using this raw, cold pressed kelp product called "Kelpgrow" (kelpgrow.com). It appears on pictures as slightly more brown than green, but to my eyes it leans more to greenish-brown liquid and it's very murky. I really like this product and seen incredible results with it on my strawberries...

    Soil ph question

I agree, bowl of water does nothing but takes place of one plant. I have humidifier, our climat is really dry in general. But I'm not sure if setting up humidifier in tent will work as all humidity will be immediately sucked out by exhaust fan. I also read that 30-40 rh is fine, not best but...

    Soil ph question

I always thought that ph increases/lowers in logarithmic proportions ph = -log(H*). In other words ph of 7.5 is 10 times more alkaline than 6.5 don't you think?
