I feel ya MrGreenTooth...but if you read the beginning of this thread youll see its all about those who want to stray from the original recipe. We know its tried and true. We know its foolish to mess with it. But we're too curious to care really :dunce:. We know it works, now we want to find...

    subs supersoil

use diatomaceous earth for long term silica. organic rice also has a good amount of silica in it and will feed the fungi in your soil...i dont know silica blast personally so I would be skeptical to add it, I do however add Dyna-grow Pro-tekt into every watering for silica.

    Langbeinite for supersoil

Organic TGA Grow Journal - Plushberry, Qush, Flav, Ace of Spades...the list goes on!

:bigjoint:that seems to be the thing about TGA, if its a female and doesn't herm, 90% of the time its a keeper, and 30% of the time its the dankest most crystal coated beauty you have ever seen - totally worth popping however many seeds it took to find that one ridiculous pheno. I wouldn't...

Beneficial fungi and why they are the reason for super soils exceptional results

Agreed, Go for it WAWill! - I would love to see a thread about innoculant supplement "ingredients" so to speak - what strains of endo/ecto, trichoderms, bacteria, etc. and each of their known applications. I know there is a lot of debate over ectomycorrhizae due to their predominant relationship...

Good info Supra, I agree a home RO system is the way to go for so many reasons. Also Kalyx good call with the water temps - dont want to shock your ladies with 40 degree water!!! I use my 8 gallon homebrew kettle - just fill it up with 5 gallons and put it on my outdoor burner on full blast and...

I try to stay away from brita...the cartridges add fluoride to the water - no good for you or your ladies. I've always been puzzled as to why they do this... Go to a homebrew store or pet store and ask about how to get rid of chloramine - they will know how to help you. Until then I'd stick...

Beneficial fungi and why they are the reason for super soils exceptional results

Ha, don't even get me started on Monsanto...I can remember being a freshman in college and writing a 12 page paper on Monsanto, the assignment was: Pick an environmental hero or villain and explain why. Most other kids turned in 2 or 3 page papers...I started writing about Monsanto and couldn't...

    CO2 + Homebrew = A Synergistic Approach

So I posted this in the DIY and general indoor forums, but since this is my home I figured I'd post it here as well. I’ve been ruminating on this for a while and finally figured I would put it on paper (or in this case screen). So here goes: We have all heard of the DIY method of CO2 production...

    Organic Soil, Microorganisms, and pH

so would you recommend adding more dolomite to subs recipe as a buffer? Don't want to end up with too much Ca or Mg if thats possible...I'm thinking if I add dolomite, gypsum, epsom salts, and K-mag it might be too much...especially in the sulfur department...

this method will not get rid of chloramine....IMO the rev would cringe if he heard you say you can water with aerated tap - he explicitly states that starting with good, pure water is one of the most important factors. Water your truly living organic soil once with chloramine laden water and...
