BC Northern Lights Producer Grow #2

Thanks for reading up and commenting. The biggest negative of these boxes is the upfront cost. However, if you have money to invest, what you will be getting is a blend of one of the stealthiest and efficient grow boxes on the market. I really messed up my first grow and it still grossed me 35%...

    BCNL Producer Round 2 OGxBlueberry

Yeah, I'm just worried because I remember some secondary branches that produced decent bud... then again, most others didn't. I was thinking of selectively cutting the smallest ones. Just don't want to lose good bud sites.

    BCNL Producer Round 2 OGxBlueberry

Sorry for following up with this on your thread Smacc, but I was having trouble sending a PM... Smokedup... I'm just having trouble deciding what branches should stay and which should go. Should I just cut the smallest branches not hitting the light? Some of the lower branches are really...

BC Northern Lights Producer Grow #2

Day 14 Flowering Plants have grown 4-6 inches in the last four days. My tallest plant is 17 inches tall (hard to tell from picture). Nutrient ppm has fallen to around 500. pH has been around 5.3 and I've been struggling to keep it from falling further (I don't have pH up). I have a tank of...

    BCNL Producer Round 2 OGxBlueberry

Question for smacc or any BCNL grower... do you recommend trimming the bottom of your plants (lollipopping) or is there any way to make the lower branches productive? I do have two t-5's on the bottom. I'm ending week two of flower now. Some lower branches are getting lots of light and are...

    BC Northern Lights Producer grow

I flipped my new grow at 5.5 inches in height. I am ending week 2 tomorrow and my biggest plant is 15 inches and is growing about an inch a day. I'm wondering how much longer this one will continue stretching...

Day 10 Flowering Plants are growing (2" in three days). I'm trying to tuck some of the bigger fan leaves under the smaller bud sites as much as possible to encourage growth of those sites. The nutrient ppm is around 600. The pH is 5.6.

BC Northern Lights Producer Grow #2

Day 7 Flowering Everything is looking good. I've only seen about 3" of vertical growth in the past week. This is probably from the veg to flower transition. I'm debating trimming off the lower branches since my plants last time had tons of useless growth.

BC Northern Lights Producer Grow #2

Thanks for the thoughts. H202 would kill my beneficial bacteria unfortunately, so that is a product not in my arsenal. Good thought. I have raised the water level since that last post, but I'll continue to keep an eye on that to see if bumping it up even more would help those roots stretch...

Day 4 Flowering Not much new to report. Nutrient ppm is 480, though they would probably like more. pH is 5.8

So it's like a passive intake then. There must be some kind of way for the negative pressure from the exhaust to suck in fresh air. It's strange to me that there isn't some kind of intake fan. Maybe it wasn't designed for high temps?

1st grow with BCNL producer... God bud!

After covering the net pots like you did, I've never experienced a major algae issue. I'll have to keep an eye on those air lines though. Low temps is another thing I've never had to deal with. I'm always battling the high 80's without ac.

That's weird. I live in a more southern state and have no heat problems with my producer as long as I have my ac going. Your box doesn't have an exhaust?

Never had root rot, but Ive heard that many (most) people cut away the bad roots and soak the rest in a hydrogen peroxide solution. Sorry to hear this man. Bummer!

Do you have any pictures? How does the glass cool down since the heat is being generated from above. The glass in mine is almost too hot to touch. Think I could rig up a small battery operated fan to hang on the side wall and be just as effective?

1st grow with BCNL producer... God bud!

We talk a lot about nutes, pH and co2 on these boards, but remember that many people have decent grows while paying little attention to any of these things (or just being very sloppy/lazy). These plants are strong and can grow without our constant attention. If you monitor all of these factors...

1st grow with BCNL producer... God bud!

Man, those plants look great! Uniform, good size and pretty as hell! Your stragglers might get a little crouded out though. I can't really tell what's going on with your roots, but there really isn't much you can do for them that you aren't already doing. I doubt there is anything to worry about.

Yeah, portable ac is definitely preferable because you have a little more directional control. I live in a hot and humid state though, so maybe it's more of a problem for me. With my box closed, filter on, and ac running in another part of the room, my box temp was ranging from 87-89 degrees...
