no. not as long as the pots have good drainage. Have you considered fabric pots? Smart pots? thats what we use, they give good aeration to the root system and drain well.

I never give fertilizer at full strength. I would rather hit them twice with mild dose than over fertilize them.

Epsom salts only when you fertilize. Once a week, or if they are looking really good skip a week.

Hopefully you have good drainage. Cannabis has a notoriously high magnesium requirement. Most fertilizers don't supply enough. Epsom Salts is 100% magnesium. Use 1 teaspoon per gallon. I use it once a week. You can find it at any drug/grocery store. Cheap and effective.
