Im new to growing, and have a plant 3 weeks in and since its going good i wanna start some more plants but what type of soil should i use? or wht mixture should i try? Any help would b greatly appreciated

I think the best thing you can do is use the cfl's all through vegging and switch to your hps during flowering because if not its gonna make the plants lanky and stretch making the stem thinner and weaker

Im on my first grow and my question is how can i generate more heat? my lighting situation is a working progress, im going from cfl's to mh, but my soil is cold to the touch. Do you think its the lights? But any ideas how i can get more heat? Anything will help.

I have the light about 4" mabye 5" away. I was thinkin about using a HPS light but will it be ok in the veg stage?

Well right now im only running 2 26 watt cfl's because of the such small space im working with. What kind of light should i use in 2' x 3' x 4'? thanks for the help

Can ay1 help me out with these two questions. 1) My plant has a really weak stem and wont support itself without help from a stick or something 2) The leaves are growing weird they are curling on the sides as you can see in the pics. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thnx
