Thank you ADG :) They totally make me smile every time I look at them. The thing I like about dangling lights is that you don't have to adjust the plants, just the lighting. It was hard for me to find stuff to put under the plants to raise them until they got bigger. I only have a few books...

I would never consider using aluminum foil since it's pretty poor at reflection and can create hot spots for plants. Mylar is unnecessary as I've painted my cab in a flat white matte paint, which is highly reflective.

Plants went full on 12/12 this morning and also got a nice / thorough watering. Added a 2700k cree bulb as well. Will be adding one or two more when they show pistols and another two a week or two afterwards. Feeling so much more optimistic about the grow now that they are doing better...

The lights aren't really mounted...they're dangling from the holes in the top. They were then plugged in to a power strip that was mounted on the back and their length controlled with electric tape. It required daily manipulation but I didn't mind. I'm sure there are lots of ways to set them up...

that's always good...sometimes I lay off the herb for a while too. Nice to be less dependent on it. Before I had to chief all day er'day. I save a lot more weed now haha.

Took a quick pics of the girls today. Probably am going to water them with light organic nutes tomorrow and switch to 12/12 (they're 14/10 at the moment). Can't believe they grew this well with two 9.5w Crees and one 23w cfl. Excited to see how they respond with a few more Crees in there :D...

That post you linked about defoliation is very very interesting....might be tempted to try. Looks like I came in on the end of this grow! Are you going to start any new beans soon?
