    Affordable Greenhouse Automation

Check out Growtronix or Purgro they are the two big ones. However neither one is inexpensive. As for moving the lights it would definitely be a great tool to have in the garden but I doubt anyone will ever offer one. A single failure could easily cause a fire and/or death. What might work is...

Can the plant produce buds or even survive without nutrients?

It need nutrients from somewhere. It would be kind of like asking if someone can get fat without eating any food. 9 out of 10 times the instructions on the nutrients will provide a good balance not too hot and not cool weak.

    Too much lighting?

You get to a point where the yield increases are not worth the extra power. Not to mention having to deal with all the extra heat that is generated.

    Light Closeness for Seedlings

They don't need intense light at that stage. Once they have a few sets of leaves you'll want to harden them off. I usually start at 36" and work my way down over the course of a couple days. With a 400w you can get pretty close 6-12 inches without air cooling and 2-6" with cooling.

    Growtronix Computer Monitoring System?

I have Growtronix at multiple locations. It's a great system but it has a bit of a learning curve in my opinion. You can get some serious control going. During summer we had too many lights to have them all on and still keep the area cool so we setup the system to rotate through the lights...

    Anybody use GROWTRONIX

I think Growtronix only runs on Windows but I could be wrong. As long as you have a fresh install of windows and dont visit strange websites and install a bunch of random software XP will run for months without a hitch. I usually do reboot regularly just for good measure though. I use the text...

    11/11???

12/12 is a good starting point but it's almost always not optimal. Each strain has whats called a critical night length. Which is the time the plant need to be in the dark for robust flowering. During the dark period the plants go into an entirely different mode of growth and produce "hormones"...

    Anybody use GROWTRONIX

I had to sign up for another account to post since I can't figure out my password or email for the regular progrow account but I own a Growtronix system and thought I should chime in. I don't see how people think Growtronix is expensive? Show me another controller that does what it can do for...
