    Kali Brains?

Still got your Kali Brains outdoors? Mine have started flowering. Any idea how long they flower? I usually just watch for trich color and never worry about dates, but this season I'm trying to keep notes.

    Grandma Gudenhi's Cali. Garden w/PICS

Two of my plants were mothers that I got from my neighbor. They have been topped many times for clones. They are bigger because they started bigger but I'm still going to try and judge the difference it makes when topped many times. Our plants always bush out like crazy anyway but if topping...

I thought we has security taken care of. We got up the other morning and some damn turkey from around the corner was parading around in our garden! Our watchcat, Li`l Runt, was keeping a good eye on him. The turkey didn't do any damage to the plants. Actually, I think he was eating...

    Grandma Gudenhi's Cali. Garden w/PICS

Last year most of my plants were 3+ pounds. Three were around 5 pounds each. Most of my garden goes to other patients. Here is a 3.5 pound pile of Candy Shiva. It was all from one plant. This wasn't even the entire plant. We left the popcorn buds growing. There was over a pound from that. The...

    Grandma Gudenhi's Cali. Garden w/PICS

These are the seeds we started with. We got them from Harborside Club in Oaksterdam (Oakland, CA). I was very disappointed in the Granddaddy Purple/Romulan. Only 3 of the 12 germinated and 2 of those were male. Also, out of 7 Kali Brains, only 3 germinated, but all 3 were girls. The Hill Temple...

Here is my garden so far. I grow legally in Northern California. Outdoor, all organic. I have been growing for many years. Over the years, I have discovered the more room you give a plant, the bigger and bushier they get. These plants have not been topped. They just bush out naturally. This...

    average yield for outdoor plants

Till in organic supplements before planting. Give them an almost 8'x8' space each. Plant them in the full sun. Deep water them as needed and watch them grow. We gave them one dose of fish emulsion about 6 weeks into veg. and hit them once with Earth Juice Bloom when they started to show...

    average yield for outdoor plants

Here's how I figure it, If the plant were as tall as it looks, it would be about 20+ pounds. If the netting has 6" holes, how tall does it make the guy? It looks like he could stick his head through the holes. No way if they are 6", and I've never seen anything with bigger holes. I would...

    average yield for outdoor plants

Yea, I've seen that pic before. We were trying to decide if someone put that person in there. I've seen some extremely tall plants, and I've seen some extremely bushy plants, but never the two combined. Not to say it's not possible. I think most depends on growing conditions. Our's avg. 2-3...

I would leave it to grow, unless you plan on growing the cutting indoors.

    Kali Brains?

Are you still around? Did you plant your Kali Brains seeds? Tell me about it and post a pic if you have one? Ours are doing great. Out of the four strains we have from seeds, the KB is the biggest bushes, which is good seeing I know I wouldn't have chosen the strain for it's yield. So I'm...

I leave mine in the frig until the butter gets really solid. Guess I should have added that to the recipe. Thanks for pointing that out. I learned this trick while making big batches with trimmings. Lots of vegetation requires lots of extra water.

    Outdoor?

If you're at a location where you can grow a big plant, I would put it in the ground. The more room they have to grow, the bigger they get. Our plants each have an 8'x8' grow space. We average 2.5-3.5 pounds of bud per plant. As far as prepairing the soil, I guess it depends on how good your...

    start to finish/no fancy soils

Home Depot, Lowe's, places like that, have Kellogg's Patio Mix. It has worm castings, bat guano, sea kelp, etc. We use it to start our plants. A few years ago, we were given two baby plants late in the season. We put a bag of Kellog Mix on our deck, poked a few holes in one side and split...

The reason for saturating the oil/butter with THC is because it will get into your system better this way (I don't know why, it just does). Here's what I would do. Find out how much oil is needed for the recipe. Use butter instead. Melt your butter. Ground your pot. Mix the two. (If...

Yeah! It's Bud Worm Season. Pics

Budworms suck! I've had them the past three seasons. We put some nematodes in our soil this past fall. I hope it works. We normally just pick them off daily. I don't like using any sprays, etc. When we hang the buds to dry, the worms leave. IMO, they do very little damage and I'd rather...
