yes you can take clones from budding lady's..... it does take longer then normal cloning for roots but usually not much..... i did a buncha HSS clones trying to save the strain, took 6 clones from all over them but only the 2 lowest branches rooted, and those 2 are presently 2' high becoming new...

it'll work, but does stress them, have done it before, even taken clones way after 12h started with success....... but is it WAY eacier to put some clones throu 12h for determining sex...... OR.... you can cover one lower branch everyday so it only gets 12h light, do it for 2 weeks and that...

IMO.... wait till they are half the hight between the pot and light, they always shoot round a 1/4 or more up after 12h..... if ya want to get more yeild outa that short space why don't ya think about tieing down branches to foarse more growth lower.... thats what i would do....... See my...

Yes you can, i had a good Hiawian Sweet Skunk plant with fair sized buds on it even in 12h and took 6 clones..... cut all the buds off them coarse...... and the 2 lowest branch ones were the only ones to root and are currently 2' tall in my veg room becoming future Mothers!

How Do all this fine day............ well my cloner rocks, lol, that frigin thing almost works too good..... the roots are hanging into the water now past the misters, they aren't blocking them yet so they stay there till monday..... not to mention i have to get potz and soil for them...

Day 13............ Wow are those frigin Roots ever NICE............ gonna let them be for a nuther day then into soil...... gotta get some more soil and potz anyhow.... :joint: They are hanging below the sprayers now but not blocking them yet, if your rez is under the clones...

tankz growinman, with the Jug just make sure the lids fits in upside down and sits down min 1/2", it doesn't need to seal as long as the inside lip is lower then top, i really only added the weather striping to be sure of now leaks, but the rim inside around the weather stripping is dry...

no prob...... you can scrap some of the bottom too, but you don't need to...... hell i find i get roots coming outa any cut i make, leaves and all, as long as the moisture reaches it..... i even get roots formin in the neoprean obove the lid ware it's held in the water! so i try not to scar to...

Mylar is the only thing other then white i'll use..... seems to reflect the light without the colour spectrum difusion that white does by nature, think of the lwhite light reflected off red reflector.... comes out red...and it seems to be one of the few reflective surfaces that don't amplify...

Good day there all, hay whatapothead, no water leaks with lid upside down, but lotz with lid on proper! if the lid seals inside the ouside rim it would work, otherwize the lid/container is not made air tight, and to add weather stripping will only unseal anyware there is not foarced...
