Well I put my beans right in the soil and keep moist til sprout..about 3-4 days for the strong ones, and 6-8 days for the others. EDIT: After they sprout don't water till soil is almost bone dry, and then just enough to keep her healthy. My little one in the first pic, I water every third day...

Yes you can grow in MG, I did it my first grow, and they're just now coming back cuz I didn't realize MG releases nutrients everytime you water, and I loved em' = water too much...lol...I still use MG cuz it's cheap, like me, but I've learned to grow in it.... 17 days from sprout, MG Garden...

How long has it been since you blew it out w/canned air? Sounds like thermal shutdown, if you don't get thet fixed (blown out & proc reset w/thermal gel) it will fry the proc & you will be effed..

If you don't have much $, you can make a sufacant out of MILD dish soap, regular blue dawn, about 3 tblsp per gal (then put some in a spray bottle), spray them good under leaves especially, and all over....wait an hour...spray with regular water...
