regarding the topping i did on the smaller plant, it seems to be growing at the place i cut, maybe i didn't cut enough off? or is it going to have new growth on each side of the cut? Im thoroughly confused.

Ill try that! so cut the bottom off the 2 liter, and put the 2 liter in a bigger pot allowing the roots to grow downwards out of the 2 liter and outwards?

I see what you mean, so you weave the stems in the screen once it reaches them, and the nodes with bud grow straight up towards the light while the other leafy matter stays below?

Honestly since I live in a hot ass place, heat is a big issue so CFLs might be my only choice, maybe just use more than six? I could add side lights in my veg room couldn't I? In veg room the lights are all about 6 inches above the plants, is that close enough? Ill probably end up using CFLs...

Underground1337- thanks for the reply! Yeah I'm completely new to growing, once I get my exhaust system in my veg room my temps will go down. That should be soon. I don't know how to control my humidity really, but many times when I check it, it is well into the 50s and 60s, so I won't worry...
