Hey all...I know this is a old thread but I just wanted to throw this in... I bought the mccormick's seeds from walmart and tried many many times to get them to germinate and they never even showed signs of sprouting.

My best guess is it was from alot of overwatering...I took them out of their buckets and let them dry completely and put them back into buckets and they recovered 100%.

I actually noticed a little white caterpillar or inch worm on one of the buds today. Removed it and searched for other traces and none was found.

Yeah we had alot of rain sometimes raining for several days before the sun came back out. If it is root rot is there a way to reverse it? I've actually never experienced root rot always had very good luck growing over the years. Also would root rot cause just the cola buds to rot and not the...
