Well you really need to get the lights closer for a short compact plant so you will have fat dense buds in the end (or so I've heard, I'm a n00b), and use more of the 6500k bulbs, I'm running 3 to 1 right now for veg (3-6500k to 1-2700k) here's my setup... and after transplant....21 to 25...

Yes, there the same, just after transplant...and like I said in my last post, those big lights put out 20,000 lumens, in other words "it's fuckin' bright" and you're trying to imitate the suns brightness, but also like I said they're just my toppers...you can see the hanging CFLs around them...

They're t5 ho lamps (and only my top lamps)...the big ones put out 20,000 lumens of 6500k and the little one put out almost 10,000 lumens of 3000k, and I have boxes of smaller 26w 6500ks & 23w 2700ks and accumulating hanging sockets to put them in..thanx for the input though, I am a n00b, but...

I agree with jd get some flat white paint it reflects better (I use mylar & white paint) and you can control heat issues better with CFLs...here's my "grow closets", I only have around 150 in it..but lights were only about 80 of it so far..

You know...If you're not worried about a high electric bill, then MH & HPS are deffinitly the way to go, but if you're like me, and living on a budget, you can grow some pretty amazing stuff w/CFLs...For the cost of 2-600w HPS, (not only in initial cost, but less elecricity) I can run a nursery...
