ya I had mine on boxes and books and anything I could find..lol..had some jokin about using paint cans if I had any..but I had some heavy duty speaker wire and lowered my hoods & built a rack on them to hang my CFLs...not perfect but should work fine for the time being.

Thanx, they're my first grow and I'm learning a whole bunch on these pages, so keep reading peoples journals related to ur grow, that's what I did. And, ya if you don't have humidity, I found "misting" them about 3 times a day helps....and that's MISTING not RAINING...lol

Did the MG soil have a claim to feed plants for "X" amount of time?? And I'm a n00b 2 but it looks like your PH is a lil high (no pun intended)

The "Brita" may be taking nutrients from the water that the plant needs, leave regular tap water out for 3 days and try that, your watts are good but put those lights closer, within 1 - 2 inches, here is a pic of my setup it may give u some idea of what I mean...and post in "Indoor growing"...

Your 55w PL-L bulbs are good for a hood, (even though they're only 5000k) but get some single 6500k 26w CFLs and hang them 1-2 inches from ur plant...and how often are you watering? And are you letting the tap water "sit" for 3 days to expell all the chlorine and become room temp? And if ur...

OK so I posted in n00b forum, and this is a CFL grow so I'm posting it here too. This is day 25 since first sprout, tranplanted to 3 gal pots cuz of size of closet, I know, already heard they should be bigger, but I have 4 to fit in a area made for 3...so there lies my delima, they can't get too...

Ya I know, but I have size restrictions cuz of my closet. They will (hopefully) be around 3-4 ft when they finish, and that will be pushing it close.
