I distill all my butane now. I'd like to distill this 7x and compare the residual mystery oil to regular 5x. As for the bigger can.. not really sure what to make of that.. to me it just means more mystery oil per can. Even though its 2 more X's then power 5x... whatever the hell that means..

Decarboxylating and removing moisture are two different things. Just my opinion.

Your not properly decarboxylating without applying heat. The process is favorable at high temps. 165F ish in my opinion. Can you please explain how you are naturally decarbing. I don't think i quite understand what your trying to say as far as the THC%.. If your decarbing your boiling or...

Still have to put the system through a pressure test. Waiting on a couple parts, but its going good so far.

You can dewax in open loop... but again... the process in my mind.. is sketchy at best. A closed loops system can run a jacketed sleeve on the outside of the material column to chill the material and butane to subzero temps... ultimately solidifying the plant lipids and fats..waxes..etc...and...

You can follow my thread about the closed loop that I'm making.. Theres many ways a Closed loop can work. Its debatable which way is the best.

Open is definitely more dangerous.. The process that I go through to open blast is extensive.. Dewaxing can be a pain. Going Closed.

This system will include everything you need to operate. All contact materials are stainless steel 316. All gaskets and seals are Viton. I've made sure to pay extremely close attention to chemical tolerances of every single component used. No short cuts here boys and girls... 100% butane friendly.

Will keep this thread updated with progress. Theres a little secret to the two piece collection chamber, it has a concave bottom for ez scrapes. I intend to use a PTFE spatula much like a cake spatula... only lab grade.
