was wondering if any one knew of homemade mediums for hydro? thanks

i was wondering if anyone knows of strains that turn purple? i see pictures of certain strains like dutch passions twilight in purple but then i see pics of it not purple. im very confused and dont trust wich purple strains turn purple. any help would be greatly thanked.

i have fresh air flowing through the box. not sure of humidity. its pretty low im sure. ill drop the temps down. maybe its drying too fast with the heat u think?

my buds are on day 5 of drying in a big box at 85 degrees and the leaves are crispy but the branch doesnt snap. its close tho. so how long till they are done? i was thinking a day or two?

thank you Hobbes. but it still doesnt answer the plants per light question. can lower numbers yield the same cuz of light being able to hit the whole plant? like 20 plants gets the same amount as 30 plants crammed in together?

need some opinions on this. is there a right amount of plants to have per light? like 6, 8, or 10? some info on my room is that i currently have 30 plants with 3 1000 watt HPS bulbs. the plants looked cramped and alot are shading others from the light. so i wondered if i could get the same yield...

i was wondering how everyone was sealing their rooms up. my room is just drywall but there are small leak cracks from where the drywall meets the old drywall and cement floor. i was thinking of taking clear painters plastic and hanging it from floor to ceiling. taping it up really good to seal...

Ive had a few succesfull grows in soil and i want to experiment in hydroponics. im gonna use a simple bubbler system and i was wondering what the best medium is? clay balls? perlite? any help would be great. thanks a ton!
