That's exactly my thoughts, I figured a vegging plant would mostly care for itself but I figure if there's nutes in the molasses that they use, there's no reason not to at least try.. so I'm going to, I'll add a tablespoon to my next gallon of water and see what happens. Thanks for the replies. :D

I've been reading about molasses lately and just realized that I have a brand new jar of Grandma's Molasses in my pantry, I've heard people add it at like a tablespoon per gallon to their water? Is this suitable and could I begin using it now as a nute or should I wait till the plants are larger...

Plants are looking a bit better today without that fan rattling them around and temps are still a steady 85F :D.. oddly the three plants under the 13w CFL aren't doing much, they need more light I'm sure.. I'm still excited at the prospect of at least keeping two or three plants healthy.

I can't afford all that stuff and being my first grow I knew something would go wrong which is why I didn't buy all that stuff anyway.. I wanna at least harvest some bagseed before I go ordering good seeds. I donno what to do, I can try getting dirt out of my yard but I donno if it'd be better...

I thought that may have been a problem but I don't have much else to grow in, what about steel coffee containers? I don't want to OD them on Iron hahah..

All the big pieces moved to the top, really most of the soil isn't like that.. I donno what to do.

As my original post says, I'm growing in "Expert's 100% Organic Potting Soil", I don't know why it has larger chunks in it.. transplanting such young plants would kill them I thought? The only other soil I have is whatever I can dig out of my backyard, which is bound to be pretty sandy..

How many more bulbs/lumens would you think for a good harvest? I'm only looking to grow two plants, just planted six because I'm sure some are males. It seems what I have is enough at the moment as 4/6 plants have already sprouted above the dirt :D Thanks.
