yeah that seems to be a bad idea, they will find out. The amount of power, air and light required is just too great to grow without roommates, or parents noticing. Maybe try outdoor grow instead?

it isn't effective in the first place most of the time if you are careful. Just don't blast the walls of your house with heat and you'll be fine.
