Well i did start a thread about this in a different section. And heres where i got up to. I converted and old bird cage i found and i bought a cheap £25 70W HPS and have hung it inside the box, it fits perfectly. I wired up the fans and CFLs properly today and are ready to be put in the box...

Thanks for the reply, i think i might just have 1 or 2 if i can be bothered to go and get another one as an exhaust and a passive intake, and I think I might attach the CFLs with pendants so they can be raised and lowered. I think I will probably go with soil as well as it worked for my out door...

I suggest have 2 sets of CFLs, maybe one set 6500k and another set about 2700k. 6500k for starting the plant and 2700k for finishing. You could also interchange them to find out the best combonation. I also agree with budsahoy paint the inside white.

Ive got almost all of it done now. I just need a door and to put the fans in. The 70W HPS is as bright as I thought it would be but as long as i get a big enough plant im happy :) Here are before and after photos the box is still unfinished but i might start germinating the seed for it tonight.

I had them in a green house and when woolworths was opened i just stuck a 30 day drip feeder in there it work ok but i have seen one grown outside and that got massive. The grower just planted it and let it grow. lucky for some.
