I hope so... they look alright a little dried from extra light. But i swear i have seen a day to day difference in their size in the last few days. I just figured they liked the extra room... maybe there is something to 24/0- i just didnt feel right not giving them a break.

Noticed today that my timer went from 18/6 to 24/0 after being mashed against a wall sometime within the last week. I just redid the growbox so it was then more than likely(last few days).Is switching from a 18/6 to 24/0 back to a 18/6 going to shock my plants?I've been watching them closer...

Agreed. I'm far from a proper setup, but my plants have been growing fine in my homemade boxes- i just used whatever I had around. Spent around... $130 USD on my grow so far. But that was all on lights/soil/nutes. But if it's worth that money to you, then it's worth it! I'd worry about enough...

I think the Gel2Root website says that the gel cubes 'wont work well with acid-loving plants'... Soo uhh.. that could be it.

I never used aerogarden. But in terms of plant progress... go by the week, not the day. By week 2 you should have some green first leaves. I used soil and had 2nd set of leaves starting by 2 week. so just give it time man. Hang in there!
