Quick update! Took 75 of the seeds that came from the hermie and 52 popped! Used "just right" soil and had them under metal halides 18/6 for a month. Switched bulbs went to 12/12 and I couldn't believe it! 7 days in on 12/12 and 34 of 52 were female and the other 18 were a mix of males and...

I know they fall off.. But mj grows pretty symetrical so I thought maybe it would be a good thing!! Thanks! We will see what happens! Hope all goes well!! Wish me luck!!

Does it increase yield?? Or flower sites? Anything?? Never had that happen and was just curious if it is gonna be a monster?? Lol!!

What's up riu? Just a quick question. Two seedlings not sure of strain, but they are a week old and the seed shells just fell off. one is normal and the other has 3 cotyledon leaves??? Has anyone else ever experienced this and how did it work out?? My camera is broken so no pics but any opinions...

I always take a clipping off set it on black paper or book and then focus on it!! I had the same problem focusing on it still on the plant!! Is it one of those 60-100x magnifier ??

It is all different man!! Get a ph pen, some ph up and down and keep it at about 5.8-6.2!!

Looks like a dude to me, but I'd let it go a little longer cause it is real hard to tell!

Jordan293 i knew someone who took two clones from a female mother and stressed one to herm! Then he took the herm and pollinated it with the female and got 85-90% fem, but wouldn't that basically be self pollination being they came from the same mother with he same characteristics??

So tommyo3000 if I keep the environment suitable and pretty much stress free I should have a high ratio of females??

Need some opinions here!! I have heard about 3 different things about seeds from a self pollinated hermie! Some say they will be a mix of female and hermie seeds, some say they will all be hermie, and then all female!! So I do not know what to believe!! Any experienced growers/breeders out there...

"Just Right" has been successful for me and it has large perlite and can feed your babies for 3weeks!!!

I don't know if your local garden supply has it or not but I have had excellent results with "Just Right" soil!! Also I have 2 4ft double tubes combined with cfls and couldn't believe the turn out!!!! It was excellent!!! So use the 4 ft and whatever else you have just remember to keep in mind...

I tried turning off the 8in. fan and temps just rise!! So I have my door cracked with a 20in box fan pointing in it helped a little but I hate having the door cracked cause I am losing light..

I have a 4x2x6 closet grow and I recently added an exhaust fan that is 50 cfm with an oscillating 12in. fan and an 8in. fan but temps are still at 83-85!! Do I need more cfms to pull out the heat?? Btw I am using 4ft fluorescents and 1 65w cfl and 3 27w cfls and I thought they wouldn't get that...
