    Is a flush nessesary?

IMO, for best weight and taste, the last 2 waterings before harvest in soil should be water. By harvest time I'm watering every 3-4 days so that's a week flush usually, but a flush should be determined by how many times, not how long.

    Using Trim For Butter

My shake is dry but that's just the way I've always done it. Large pan, 2 lb butter, 64 g. of extremely resinous shake w/o big fan leaves (can smoke it and get high), and the rest water. Simmer for 4h 20m and chill overnight. Cut hole in top of butter and drain. Take butter out and set on...

    Texas Outdoor Growing

It’ll be different times in different parts of Texas but for me seeded plants can be started indoors and put outside as early as the end of March or beginning of April. Clones really need the indoor lighting decreased to 14 hours on throughout March and April and are best put out in...

    Texas Outdoor Growing

Texas has no grow laws so whatever they weigh is a possession charge. They just changed the felony charge to 4 oz. so that's cool and if you're lucky they'll put the wet plants in sealed bags, store them, let them mold so there's no evidence and let you off.....true story.

Bugs will find your grow in a garage if they see light at night.

    Any Central Texas Growers??

Lots of bugs will be sampling your plants when you first put them out. Just something I started doing since the greenery on the bottom 8-12" is worthless anyway, it gives a little boost to the top of the plant as well and helps it shoot up a little faster.

    Any Central Texas Growers??

Hey no problem man, glad I can help, I’m just yakking my mental jaws about what I know. A 2-3 month veg would be ideal for a seeded plant if you have good growth. Your plants need to be at least waist high so the plant munchers and other critters won’t destroy them in a few days...

    Any Central Texas Growers??

Years ago I grew swagseed to see what would happen it was the tallest skunkiest looking plant I ever grew, well over 9 feet tall. Mexicans breed that stuff to do really well in our environment and if you don't put all the nasty crap they put on theirs you get some really nice smoke.

    organics am i good?

I wouldn't be concerened with it if it's that far along but you might have a slight phosphorus deficiency based on what you said, a pic would help. Also the budswell was always a leaf yellower for me so I cut it and now I topdress with high-n guano right before flowering.

    organics am i good?

That sounds pretty good dankz. I like to use a little of a lot of different things. My ppms don't break 300 and my plants are good so that isn't really an issue if you have soil that's been ammended properly. I used to add perlite and ewc to my ffof and it did just fine. From there just add what...

    Question about aerating teas...

I don't know how big your grow is but IMO you'll have to use 16-17 gallons a day in a 3-day period on average. My teas don't get brewed any longer than 3 days, with or w/o the guanos taken out, but I'm sure opinions vary on that.

Hey Badzad, that kali mist is amazing. I like the way you have it held up like that, that's how I grow my tomatoes. I haven't tried the newer chronic with the ak added but I've got ak47 going now and seem to be stuck on it.

    Any Central Texas Growers??

As long as it's the tan/pink clay, that's what I've had experience with. Also it takes a year or two for the potting soil and ammendments to really start conditioning the clay. Once your organic goodness becomes one with the clay your wartering becomes easier.

Ideas Or Tips For Winter Outdoor Grow.

Sounds good to me. If your plant gets tall pull the top down towards the north and tie it down so your entire plant is exposed to the south where the sun is. Never tell anyone about it and have fun!

    Any Central Texas Growers??

Sativas do grow better and indicas are better off shaded after 3pm during july and after 2:30pm in august. My best plants have come from 60-70% sativa or higher but if you grow your indicas shaded you can get some really nice plants. My property is slightly slanted so my grow areas get bigger...

    Any Central Texas Growers??

Strain isn't really an issue in Texas, I've grown lots of indicas, sativas, and everything in between but if it's a bad year it's just a bad year. Texas is known for extremes, it's either flooding or a drought so just be prepared for the worst and you won't be disappointed. Grasshoppers in...

    Control Spider Mites...ORGANICALLY

Mites love marigolds, you'd be a lot better off with lavender and basil.
