i agree with the above posters, if it comes off with a gentle tug, that is the only time i take leaves off. mayyybe you fertalized too early, but i'm sure they'll recover! good luck, and happy growing!

i wait until my pots are light to pick up (completely dried out) before i water. also, the plants start looking droopy and "sad" when they are getting thirsty.

i've heard that if you veg until 2 feet, plant will be 3 feet at the end. so, take your height when you start flowering and multiply by 1.5. not sure how accurate this is, we're on our first grow, about to start flowering soon. but the friend that told me is a very good grower...

are you growing in soil? i am, and have not flushed yet, but i have heard to use double the container size, so you would be correct. why are you flushing? problems or getting ready to harvest?

thanks everyone! i didn't want to cut any leaves off, i was just scared that because this plant is so bushy, i wondered if it would prevent enough light from getting to the bottom leaves... thanks again though!!

i agree with wetdog. my plants are 42 days into veg, so we wait until the plants are showing signs of thirst (droopy, sad looking leaves), that's when we water. i also got a moisture meter (from walmart for $5) so that i could check the moisture deeper in the soil until i got the hang of it.
