Here's a pic from my 1st grow it's Purple Urkel at exactly 6 wks & 1 day flower cloned on 9-16 pic taken on 11-14.This is under a 600w with a White Rhino & Sour Diesel the 288 led's are 2w led chipset 660nm red 620nm red 470 blue & white.Will be posting my grow journal before X-Mas harvest.Led's...

To keep them shorter just keep the light as close as possible throughout your grow. The spectrum should at least have some 660nm in the red for flower & it's also good to have some UV 380-425 and maybe a cfl if you can get one in there without it getting too hot. Good luck I will check back soon.

Nice plant! From what I have read 14w is okay for veg (a lil slow but will do!) You will need to get an led array w/660 red & at least 1 w bulb ( I have read they are better than even the 2-3-or 5w bulbs really!)to make her flower properly.Even then it will do so a week or more slower than hps...

put a fan on them for a 1/2 hr each day to give them a stockier stem

let em have a breeze from a fan for a bit each day (1/2 hr should do) it'll strengthen the stem quite a lot although you might notice a slow down initially in growth.
