Ok guys got my seedlings in coco coir. Rinsed first and then put the seeds about 1/4" into the medium. I noticed when watering coco the water sits at the top and slowly moves to the bottom. For example, ill put water into the dixie cup and it fills to the top and i have to wait till it sinks...

stay away from those filters from hgtsupply. I herd a lot of people are having issues with them (icmag.com) stay close to can filter 33/66 and vortex fans. Also on ebay foothill filters have some decent filters. Imo stay with can filter 33/66

Here is a question: I have a lot o fox farm nutes left over from my last grow. I am moving to coco coir and i was wondering if would be safe to use these nutes with coco coir? are there some things i ought to know?

is it safe to use big bloom, grow big and tiger bloom with organic coco coir? ph of water is 5.8 thx

cany anyone tell if it is safe to use fox farm nutes (tiger bloom, grow bif, and big bloom) with coco coir. the brand is coco earth by OMRI.

get some panda black and white polyfilm and cover the inside of the cab. the black side keep out light and white side for reflection of light.

im pretty sure the stanley blower will be a lot more effecient then my axial 6" 240cfm fan....thoughts please.

i checked the add but it doesnt say anthing about the cfm needed, only states it comes with a 240cfm fan. is there a way to calculate it out?

what do you think about if i replaced the axial fan with a cage fan (active air exhaust 465cfm) and used the axial fan to bring in cooler air? i could do this as well...

i looked at the link you provided and i have a lil reservations, but i might just be paranoid. 4x2x6=48 cubic feet 48/5minutes=9.6cfm now my contention is if i am dividing by 5 isnt this wrong, rather i ought to multiply by 5 to get the amount of cfm's for every 5 minutes? I may wrong, but...

ok let me see if i have this right: BTW I have a 400w hps. 400*3.413=1365.2 1365.2/10.8=126.407 therefore I will need 126.407cfm? so in order to replce my air 3-5times per minute i will need a fan with 127cfm roughly? for fans with a scrubber add 20%. 127*20%=25.4 25.4+127=152cfm to scrub...

any comments on the axial fan and scrubber? i am really hoping this axial fan 240cfm and scrubber will be able to pull clean and exhaust the unwanted hot air.....any ideas?
