eh well my other 4 ladies are loving the heat and sun with 3 of them flowering and another just starting too while another should be done in about 2-3 weeks but i dug out that dead plant and checked the soil to find it to be moist but not containing the water so it wasnt drowning...just bad PH...

yea never had a problem with the heat but of course its hot and dry!! its california in the summer! best place to grow outdoor btw :) with no rain and sun all day long

yea i had to water them more often but id have to say the more heat the better otherwise it gets cold in the nights which i know slows them down but they get a cloudy morning every now and then and temps range from 70-110 in the day and 55-70 in the night.....we had some warmer weather for a few...

yea the clay soil is hard no doubt but anything my mom plants in a garden way down the hill has no problem growing through it so i figured weed wouldnt have any trouble either...but ill still make much bigger holes next year...it will be worth the $300 investment for good FF soil in the end to...

actually i was underwatering for awhile but i dug it up and it wasn't root bound nor did it have root rot so it was bad balance of PH and bad use of nutes....at least iv learned so i dont fuck up again....gonna harvest one other in like 2 weeks tho...looking like easily 3 or more ozs so its not...

yea next year im going to fix a few MAJOR things like much bigger holes, balanced PH, good nutes are the right amount, better watering schedule plus just all this experience from this year will pay off next season. thank for the help everyone...i just put this girl through too much

Yea definetly not root bound at all! I'm now thinking PH problems and bad using of nutes ect ect....o well I still have 4 plants that I'm hoping to get a QP off of each so good learning experience for next year

yep so they are fucked....look like shit and are dead when i went up there today:( .....i flushed with 4 gals of 6.5 ph water not that they will even have a chance of coming back but i did it for the hell of it but i lost one like this about 7 weeks ago what did i do wrong so this wont happen in...

alright im gonna break up the surrounding soil and i gave it half strength last water so im gonna water it with just water next time and them 3/4 strength the time after that...if it was def. how long until it should start looking better?

cant be root bound i dont think...its planted in the ground but i only made a 1'x1'x1' hole and then its nasty hard clay soil...but root bound would make sense since im doing nothing different on smaller plants that look fantastic and growing good....jsut hoping this plant isnt a loss cause next...
