I just picked up a ph test kit and the great value purified bottle water tested the correct ph and was wondering if there might be any additives that harmed the plants? Then I ph tested my tap water and it's reading about 8 without sitting for 24 hours going to retest that tomorrow.. Any input...

Okay I just really feel like the compost if garbage it's not like the ones I planted in the humboldt mix that are moist and do not need misting these are either super dry or Retaining the water on the top layer.. About the lights okay to leave off until sprouted?
