It looks like you are finishing the plants off in 4" drainpipe. So the bulk of the plant growth is from a variation of NFT. Is that right ? If I read you right the big advantage of true aeroponics is in propagation.

Looks good to me. Was thinking along the same design lines but would have to round up a high pressure pump and mist heads. Another way might be to use an aerosol head and compressor. An ordinary asthma nebulizer puts out a fine smoke like mist or can take the top off for larger particles. Doubt...

Do the cups have drainage holes in them? They should. Feed em. Nitrogen causes folliage growth.

I think Its overwatering. The medium isnt drying out enough befor the next cycle.
