I had to remove part of the cola on 2 plants due to mold at harvest, that s**t is terrible. However I was able to save a lot of the colas in time. The bud was soooo sticky when trimming out the mold, and I felt like trying a little. I microwaved a pinch for 8 second increments about 4 times...

One Beautiful Cola!! I only wish I could describe what the smell is like as easily as taking a picture. It's strong...mostly piney, sweet, and a little skunky .

I did trim all the leaves last night, but should I also trim the branches down or leave the plant whole? I imagine it would dry quicker when its all broken down.

I wish I knew. I have 3 different kinds all saved from bags of schwagg. Just pure luck.

The plants are quite heavy, if I were to guess a final weight, based on what I see...I think it should be at least 6-8oz. All outdoor by the way. I learned a lot from RUI.com, its such a great resource. Already looking forward to next year.

There a 4 Beautiful plants hanging to dry after months of care and worry. It is truly amazing to make it all the way on my first grow. Check it out. I'll add more pics tomorrow.

I am anxious to harvest my 4 plants and would like to wait after a short dry spell, but I am also very afraid of budrot. I have already had to cut the main cola from 2 plants from aggressive rotting, and at this very moment we have just received about 2" of rain and the air is still and humid...

This happened last week as the plant matured.

I was carefully inspecting the Purple one and noticed some budrot at he bottom of the cola. So, I had to top the plant prematurely to prevent catastrophe. It still looks stellar, feels quite heavy and smells as expected, like a fresh skunk.

I can provide more pics later. They have been hastily tied to some nearby growth, and they measure between 5-6 foot. I look at the trichromes with a microscope and I think they need to mature for another week and a half. Will the trichromes rub off with all the wind? The strains are unknown...

I am in Maryland and we are expecting 40-45 mph gusts plus heavy rain for the next 2 days. Should I "pull out" now, or see what happens? BTW...I have 4 ladies in the ground all started from seed that I saved from some shitty mids.
