6wk flower, leaves and stems turning red fast, should i be worried? '+PICS

Yes, turning the pot upside down and sliding the plant out will let you peek at the roots. Don't do it if you feel the plant is not developing roots well, because you can damage weak root systems by yanking them out of wet soil stuck in the pot. This will help you see if they are white and...

    fungus gnats best way

Mild dose 3-6 oz per 100 gal. Strong dose 13-26 oz per 100 gal. This can be added to a nutrient mix.

    confused....

I was saying that Tiger bloom is a complete nutrient base with micros and everything. Adding this to a 3-part nutrient formula that is also complete is not necessary. By recommending boosters and additives, I was referring to high PK boosters such as Beastie Blooms or Shooting Powder. Additives...

    need help with foliar feeding!!!

Spraying with Fulvic Acids also help increase phyotosynthesis and metabolism. I give a light spray of micronutrients right before flowering to prevent any deficiencies in organic growing.

first time grow . a lil slow growing but input wanted

Also, What kind of soil is that? It looks coco-based, but with not much perlite. They look healthy, but like everyone is saying, root health is the key. proper drainage drying out between watering (2-3 days) air movement mycorrhizae Good Luck!

    need help with foliar feeding!!!

Seaweed is high in endogenous pplant hormones including Cytokinins. These help with cell growth, division, and elongation. Spray Nitrozyme on a healthy plant and come back in 24 hours and tell me what you think. The plants aren't probably growing fast enough to need the boost until they are...

    confused....

Big Bloom can be isolated as an organic additive, not a base nutrient or bloom booster. It's just digested Worm Castings, Bat Guano, Kelp, Rock Phosphate..... If you're in soil, this will be the best flavor enhancer you can buy and will not interact chemically with the other nutrients you are...

    fungus gnats best way

Azamax is a clarified, concentrated extract of neem, and is much more soluble in water than cold pressed neem oil. This makes it more flowable when watering into the soil or in a hydro setup. Emulsifying with a little bit of coco-wet helps, but not too much. Also, Fungus gnats should be...

Mite Problem. what insecticide can be used to "dunk" entire plants (sans root ball)?

PyGanic is a 1.4 percent organic pyrethrum concentrate. Very effective against spider mites, but can by phytotoxic in high doses. I would recommend spraying with kelp a few days after the initial dip to wash off the excess oils on the leaves. Also, rotation is a strong recommendation (Pyrethrum...

    Foxfarm's Liquid Microbial inoculant....Any results?

I'm just wondering if anyone else has tried Microbe Brew. I'm pretty loyal to Foxfarm and have never had a problem with their products. Anyone else?

    foxfarm's new bushdoctor / sledgehammer

Usually this is not a problem, but I let a buddy watch my room over Halloween and he totally sabotaged my grow! Not only did he “forget” to water enough to maintain the turgor pressure in my plants, but I guess he “forgot” how to measure nutes and overdosed them to the...

    Foxfarm's Liquid Microbial inoculant....Any results?

Has anyone used Foxfarm’s liquid mycorrhizal inoculant? Bushdoctor Microbe Brew? I am mostly familiar with powdered inoculants like Great White, Oregonism, Plant Success, but only know of one other liquid inoculant. Earth Ambrosia is hard to find these days. I have used Compost Teas before, but...

Also, Bio-Bizz is pretty mild for plants. Getting enough organic Nitrogen is tricky, and you can definitely up the dosage, or find a supplemental. Cal-Mag is not Organic, so if that matters you can look into other nutrient lines. Look into the Organicare line from Botanicare, they have some...

Should I cut off these fan leaves?

Getting direct light to the lower portions of the plant will make them mature more completely than if they are left in the shade. A leaf or two will not hurt the plant, but exposing the tips to direct light will make them ripen. Have Fun!

    pruning lower branches

I like to prune several times during a plant's life: 1. When they are 6" tall, I will top them, and pull off lower growth, leaving 4-6 growing points 2. In early flowering I will prune off any lower branches and secondary branches (on bushy plants) that have snuck up, and maybe a sun-leaf or...

    Not enough height ???

In addition to topping, you will want to prune off any thin spindly branch that is notgetting enough light on the bottom, shading out other branches, and not going to produce a final product for you. If you are topping more than 2-3 times in a plant's life, then you have too many branches that...

What were your temperatures. If you have a min/max thermometer, you can record the temperature swings. cool temperatures can bring out colors like that sometimes, especially in genetics that are prone to color.
