    Generator Power

Look at Honda generators, tri-fuels. NG, diesel, propane. Generator hooked to a NG line is a great way to save cost. Note, you have to have experience with motors, as well as the ability to intake/exhaust air. You need to have some sort of noise control as well. They sell permanent NG...

any advice using DR. Hornbys big bud ?

Works well. If you're using the AN calculator, start off with the light feeding schedule. Ignore the instructions on the label or you will kill your plants.

Anybody that has a light mover

There is no replacement for extra more lights. You're running 1200 watts on a 8x4 tray, which most people feel is too low (37.5 watt per sq foot, sorry, US Standard system is crap). 2x1000 or 3x600 would be ideal. The rails have to be mounted correctly on the ceiling or any type of overhead...

organic fertilizer $130 per liter!!! should I buy??

Sorry, I use the following yellow bottles: Pre Bloom and Roots Bloom for early vegging. Along with Voodoo Juice and Tarantula/Piranha, helps me maintain a perpetual cloning/harvest I use Ultra Bloom to help initiate flowering. Yes, you can use a bloom enhancer in the first week to trigger...

organic fertilizer $130 per liter!!! should I buy??

Pre Bloom is definitely worth using and the cost is a lot more reasonable. I do have Phat/Ooze, but have not had a chance to use it yet. It is cost prohibitive. Pre Bloom will result in noticeable preflowers in bud sites by day 7 to 10 of 12/12. I am using E&F and CO2 sealed environment.

    Sentinel climate controller reviews?

The controller is capped at 15amps, which means it cannot control an AC unit (most of them). At most, it can control a dehumidifier, but if you're also using it to control intake/exhaust fans, you might be cutting it too close. I use separate controllers, the CPPM1 and the EVC-2.

    Temps With 1500ppm Co2??

Temps with CO2 is mainly determined by genetics. Your best bet is to get a laser thermometer. Odds are, if your room is 86-88, the temps of you canopy under the light will be 3 to 5 degrees higher. Some strains can handle this, others cannot.

Botanicare Sweet Carbo Berry or Citrus carbohydrates additive

It's a great marketing trick for inexperienced growers since there are tons entering this hobby in the past few years. GH's floranectar specifically advertises this, but most experienced growers know that the taste/smell of these carb additives do NOT transfer over. They might bring out a...

    yo yo hangers

The key with installing the yoyo hangers is that you want the black yoyo part at the bottom (supporting the light) and you want the string tied to the support bar/beam/hook above you. The instructions provided are opposite. It makes it so much easier to use/change when you flip it.

Botanicare Sweet Carbo Berry or Citrus carbohydrates additive

The smell does not carry over after drying/curing. The Sweet line is to feed the microorganisms so you have faster growth, bigger yields, better quality, etc. I use Botanicare Sweet and am happy with the results. I have also used FloraNectar before as well. I'm beginning to think that we...

Heavier nutrient feed for CO2 enrichment?

I would not go heavier on the nutes. They will transpire faster and intake/release more water. You will end up filling up your reservoir more often, or watering more. But plants can only absorb so much nutrients before they burn. I would follow a normal calculator and start off at 50-75%...

    Anyone ever used "Sweet?"

While I would like to keep my res below 70, sometimes it's not possible without the added use of water chillers = more power usage. I use 115 gallon reservoir, quad port air pumps, full AN nutrient line, sensizym, compost tea, etc. I've never had algae problems or mold problems. I change out...

    Anyone ever used "Sweet?"

I'm currently using Botanicare Sweet and have used GH Flora Nectar. The flavor does not carry over to the dry product, but is very noticeable while flowering. The carbohydrates in the products include cane sugar, molasses, etc, which is similar to the blackstrap molasses that people use in...

    G13 Labs Pure Gold freebie

This strain has been my secret weapon. In a sealed room, CO2, very good nutrient program, this strain just blows things out of the water. Trichome and resin production is out of this world. This plant can probably take a bit more veg time for maximum yield (I veg for 21 days after roots...

    Alaskan Ice

Horrible, horrible experience with this strain. Started from seed. I had 2 different mothers, the first one never showed preflowers while during veg. I was very inexperienced (still am!) and took some clones. When flowering, they formed flowers very slowly, and never dense. They looked like...

    Question about hydroton

I cut a rapid rooter in half, wrap it around the base of the stem/roots, and then bury it in hydroton. I also presoak a bunch of RR's in the nutrient solution first (separate container obviously) The idea about flooding the table first and placing the rooted clone directly in hydroton is a...

    portable ac question

https://www.rollitup.org/grow-room-design-setup/198910-co2-controller-sealed-room-help-10.html Talked about this in another thread. Single hose will exhaust smell from your grow area. You definitely do not want to vent out the window. You could vent into another room if you don't mind...
