    Light burn from t5s?

Right, but isn’t it strange that only a few select tops are exhibiting the yellowing? And only the ones closest to and in the most intense place under the light?

Hmm okay I’ll lower it down a bit now and then a little bit more tomorrow

    Light burn from t5s?

Gotcha. It’s just weird that only some of the tops are turning yellow. And the ones that are turning yellow, only half of the leaves are fading

    Light burn from t5s?

Damn, I’ve got a batch of no nitrogen nutes bubbling away now. I guess I’ll toss them or feed at 1/4 strength. Do you think the yellow leaves are because of excess nitrogen or a separate thing?

    Light burn from t5s?

from everything I have read about nitrogen toxicity, the leaves turn dark green and claw. There are definitely dark green leaves on the plant (no clawing) so there could be nitrogen toxicity, but would that cause the yellowing leaves? Or is that a separate issue?

    Light burn from t5s?

I started with dynagrow foliage pro and bloom at half strength. At the beginning of flower I switched to earth juice grow, bloom, catalyst, and cal mag at full strength. The company claims to be non-burning organic which Is why I did full strength. I did notice the waxyness and gave her 3.5...

    Light burn from t5s?

Hey everyone! I’m pretty late into flower, I’m thinking I have another few weeks til chop. I’ve been struggling with what I believe is light burn for the past month or so, despite using a t5 ho light (2’x8 bulbs). Everything I have read about t5 lighting for cannabis says you can keep them...

    Humidifier during winter

That’s pretty much where I’m at right now, just a little colder with lights on. I’m in preflower now and I’m getting real tired of fiddling with my humidifier. I’m glad I can pay less attention to charts now that I know growing well in low humidity is possible!

    Humidifier during winter

“If VPD is too large, the plant stomata will close in an attempt to limit transpiration, which can result in issues like tip burn and leaf curl.” Decreased transpiration will limit water uptake from the grow medium. I can agree that people can get too caught up in charts, but at the same time...

    Humidifier during winter

What I have going right now is a cheap humidifier with a dial switch on it hooked up to a timer. The dial switch is important because if it is a button operated model it might not automatically turn on when the timer turns back on. I’m growing in a dry basement with humidity getting down to 30...

Humidifier and no fan for 3 hours!

You should be good. During my first grow I didn’t realize how much humidity my humidifier produced and they were in rainforest conditions for a while before I realized. They grew fine after that with no problems from the humidity

Help run off ph comming out lower then inlet ph running royal gold tupar

Sorry Thomahawk, I was pretty high last night and completely missed that you mentioned your substrate and nutrients. I haven’t grown in coco yet so I won’t be much help. I know that coco needs to be buffered before growing in it which you may or may not have done. I’m sure someone else can give...

Help run off ph comming out lower then inlet ph running royal gold tupar

It means your soil is a little acidic. Your 6.3 ph water runs through your soil (probably around 5 ph) and becomes a more acidic 5.6 ph. You can water your plant with a more basic ph to balance out the difference. A 6.8 ph solution would end up being around 6 - 6.1 ph after going through the...

Need advice. How long will a generator last?

As someone who has grown in less than ideal conditions I don’t think you are going to have a good time doing this. - You won’t be able to remove humidity from the very humid air. This may be fine during veg but once you flower your buds are going to rot -pests from the soil and mine shaft will...

Hey all! A little less than 2 weeks ago I posted a thread after I accidentally topped my plant very low. Thank you to everyone that responded and convinced me all was not lost. The following pictures range from the day of the snap (D21) to the day of this post (D34) Over the past two weeks she...

Accidentally topped banana blaze auto - progress oics

Ok thanks I’ll definitely check first! I definitely notice a touch of yellowing on the bottom single leaves. If she continues to yellow over the next few days I’ll introduce some nutes

Accidentally topped banana blaze auto - progress oics

I think I actually have some molasses hanging around so I’ll give it a try! Is that 1/2 tsp per gallon of soil or gallon of water? Edit: the molasses I have is from the feed store and it has propionic acid. Is that ok to us?

Accidentally topped banana blaze auto - progress oics

Wow that’s awesome that you have had so much success! I’ve heard that the more “modern” autos can take a fair amount of hst. Hopefully this grow goes well! When I topped this one I dropped another seed in the soil after a 24 hr soak but it never ended up germinating. I probably should’ve done a...
