Wow I forgot about this. This grow turned out good I harvested 4 plants. Had problems with pH crashing at the end and have since started a new grow. This time I made my own RDWC system out of three 27 gallon bins, added a danner 500gph pump and a chiller. Just hit first week of flower...
I had foaming issues when my water was at 72-73 degrees. Bought a chiller set to 67, it was the best purchase ive ever made. Clean cool white roots and no more foam. Good luck
I'm switching to jacks I think because I fought pH crash mid flower thru harvest with my AN sensi nutes. I have well water so I use RO. After mixing I would have to pH up to about 5.9. 24 hrs later it would be up in 6.3 and I'd pH down to 5.9. next day, low 5s. pH back up again. Next day...
I'm thinking it's more the fault of my nutrients but I have to start a new run to test. Also I wasn't sure if my boiler running had anything to do with this because I turned down my heater in my lung room at the same time I was having issues. I have read of similar people having my issues and...
When I mix a fresh batch I add a little pH up and I'm sitting at 5.8. 24 hrs later it'll be at 6.2-6.3. 24 after that it'll be low-mid 5's. 24 hrs later it'll be low-mid 4s. I adjust after each reading and set buckets to 5.8-5.9 using up or down
S*** at first when the pH was crashing I would change every two days cuz I didn't know what was going on did this about three times before I finally said let's just add the pH up and see what happens and lower my EC
Not rising yet, just not crashing. After first 48 hrs of new water/nutes, my buckets will start crashing for the next 48-72 hrs, sometimes 1.5 pH drop to low 4s. After that it's been stabilizing and only dropping .3-.5 per 24 hrs. Still not going up consistently
Yeah that's what I'm going for. Quietly though, hard for me to criticize my buddy that has well over 100 grows under his belt while I'm on #1. Even moreso to not believe him but I'm listening to the plants more.
What's worse is I didn't listen to him in terms of lights. He sent me the best...
Great. Sitting at 750 ppm and adding 3ml each part A and B nutes to water every other day. Set at 750 they lose about 25-30 ppm and half gallon water per day. My buddy says I'm underfeeding since I'm at week 7. But I'm reading the plants and they aren't deficient. The tip burn showed up on...
I do it twice around the first week of flower is the first time and then about 30 days later and periodically here and there good air flow is the main key
I don't know if that's it honestly I check mine every 24 hours and sometimes I'll be at 5ph and then I'll adjust accordingly. But that does look like ph damage......I'd also be trimming some older fat leaves there you have a lot in there. Remember you are growing buds not leaves.
