    7 East Genetics

7 east has excellent stealth if you are outside of the legal states. I've just set 5x nebulis kush and 5x cherry dragon seeds earlier today - I have backseat preacher, the kraken, puffin piss x banana OG, purple bliss x purple dragon balls, super lemon dragon, and some black lime reserve. They...

Oh nah no problems at all. This is my first time doing any kind of hydro. What I meant by never buying bottled nutes again is that I previously was, but I changed to raw salts about the time I started this thread. I played around with some calcium/magnesium additives but couldn't get things...

Update: Growth seemed to accelerate for a few days before slowing down and paling near the tips, meanwhile the 2 touchy pheno's far left showed small signs of N toxicity by the end of that week. I'm not an expert but it seemed that using fatman's recipe there was something missing and from what...

    Calcium Acetate

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure what tums are so will have a look but I don't think we have it in my location. EDIT: I see it is antacid tablets made from Calcium carbonate and sucrose. LOL! Attempting to make the solution in the DIY article using washed oyster shell flour and 5% white...

Does anyone successfully use this for a stand alone calcium boost (no nitrogen) to their hydro feeding schemes? I guess a bonus of DIY is the Co2 boost for your ladies if you did it in the room with them :eyesmoke: Any old heads care to take a few moments to share the why or why not with me...

Good constructive input. Hope you don't mind I moved my reply to the current thread here. You quite literally just put extra topping on a store bought pizza. Starting on day 3 today and looking great.

    Wanting to understand nutrients better

Your first stop might be to learn about living soils. Any google search with that term will yield results!

Yea but I had to look around in the internet to find them but I managed to source 0.5kg portions of all the trace elements online, the only thing I can't find but isn't in the recipe is potassium silicate though I could get it from amazon or ebay if I really wanted.

Over the course of a few weeks whilst my supply of CX nutrients dwindled away I was waiting on the courier to deliver some packages to my brother in law on my behalf. I am using Fatman's coco (grow) recipe I lifted from a lengthy discussion on another site, recipe below for those who are...

    First hydro grow

Not long now, I think I'm getting good growth rates. I'm only using base nutes as every time I try to use growth additives (even in small amounts @20% recommended dose) I get some funny lock outs going on. I will take more cuttings from the larger bush up the back to try even out the canopy...

    First hydro grow

Hindsight says I should have used a net that isn't made from bungy cord but these were on special at Bunnings and were just the right size for a 4x8, except the squares stretched out quite a bit but I will just lace it up with paracord over time. Wont take long to fill those empty squares up...
