Thank you! I'm not opposed to using a different soil, I have just read that it was supposed to be a good soil with nutrients, so that it why I purchased it. :)

I water very slowly till I get the least little bit of runoff. I thought that was how you were supposed to do it. And let dry out until you water again.

I have 5 gallon pots I can use if needed. I just don't want to screw these up.

1 part perlite to 4 parts soil

I'm watering until I get runoff, then wait till they are dry. I'm always scared I'm going to under/over water them.

Planted in 3 gallon fabric pots with Ocean Forest, a little perlite and diatomaceous earth a 2 or 3 weeks ago. Temps are staying in mid 70's. Light is on a 7, but can go up to a 10. Humidity is all over the place. Seems like too high or too low, still trying to figure that out. I've had 2...
