I was at lowes and i found h.i.d. bulbs for half of what the grow shops are selling for. Lumens seem to match up the same. I found a 400w hps that said it was 40k lumens. Are these just as good as the ones they sell in the grow shops. Or are those specifically designed for growing?

The grow tents from htg supply work really well, all their stuff is decent in price and customer service is not too bad either. they also have good deals on hps/mh packages. you shouldnt have to pay more than 4 or 5 hundred for everything you need.

I would suggest at least 6 ft. No telling how tall they will grow. depends on the strain and the type of light your using

makes total sense! i completely overlooked the potassium! i think thats what it is. So do i flush? i actually just watered with a gallon of reg. tap water with 30ml of vinegar, so i can flush more if you think it would help. thanx for tha feedback.

A little over three weeks of flowering. still has at least a month left to go. Is it normal forthem to do that this early in flowering?

Just make sure to let the soil get good and dry all the way through before you water. - The roots grow faster and stronger when theyre searching for water. Good Luck Bro.

how big should each pot be? and i have one or two that i really care about, should i just say screw it and cut the other ones. I dont want to take the chance in losing my big one

i was just going to put them into another bigger single pot, i want to put them in individuals but i planted them too close together (d'oh) and am affraid the roots are tangled with eachother. Any thoughts on this? The other single pot is about twice as big. Will that do?
