Too much K? Too little Mag? PH? Yellow wilted leaves

Just got a hydro water PH test kit. My water tested at 8.0! I can't believe it! I am nowusing PH down and flushing with 6.5 PH water to correct my problem. The lemon juice was just no where in comparison as strong or potent as the PH down from General Hydroponics. I was told by someone more...

Too much K? Too little Mag? PH? Yellow wilted leaves

These plants are out doors, just in a green house. I used the rapitest color coded reagent test kit. you mix some soil in water 1:5 parts let it settle then add it to the small test chamber mix with powder inside of a capsule and then use a color comparison chart to test. I am still having...

When to add flowering nutes for outdoor?

I have small buds forming right now. I have been giving my plants fertilizer for the last week. As soon as you see little hair clusters start to form at the growth tips then start your feeding. Also the branches off the branches as well as the tips will begin to turn upwards. Also i would...

I heard not to use lime and fertilizer together.

Good to know. But why do they say to wait 30 days? Is there a reason for that?

I heard not to use lime and fertilizer together.

On the back of a soil test kit i just got I was reading not to use lime and fertilizer together. I was wondering what could happen? I am pretty sure i did this at least once this season. It said to actually not fertilize for 30 days after a lime application. What could happen, should i be worried?

I tested my soil PH of a plant i was having problems with and it was 7.5 so i adjusted the water with some lemon juice and then tested the water with the soil testing kit and my water was reading...

Too much K? Too little Mag? PH? Yellow wilted leaves

OK so everyone who is still interested my soil test results are in! Nitrogen = low Phosphorous = adequate Potassium = super high almost off the charts. PH = 7.5 So i think a combination of high PH and too much Potassium is my problem. I think i added too much kelp meal to start and then...

Can i lower my PH with lemon juice?

Good to know. How much should i apply? 1-2 table spoons per gallon? More? Less? "but why be cheap when up/down only run $10 a bottle." 80 mile round trip in my 6 cylinder truck adds another $10 at least to that bottle.

Can i lower my PH with lemon juice?

Just wondering if this is a bad idea or not. I think my PH is too high and i would like to know what rate to apply it to my plant? I don't have a soil PH meter which i really need ASAP but until then i have already tried raising the PH and fixing my deficiency problems but so far no help. I...

Too much K? Too little Mag? PH? Yellow wilted leaves

I am using well water that is pumped through a water softener. I heard that softner isn't good to use but haven't seen much of a problem with my other plants. Also i am using a large swimming pool to help the impurities and excess heavy metals to settle at the bottom of the pool while i pull...

Too much K? Too little Mag? PH? Yellow wilted leaves

Thanks for the advice. Sometimes it is hard for me not to be a perfectionist. Especially when i am picking about 20 dead leaves off my plant every 4-5 days. Anyways i will keep posting my results so that others having the same problem might get an idea from my posts. Also 95033 is my old...

Too much K? Too little Mag? PH? Yellow wilted leaves

I just read this. "Note that when adding iron to the solution, it is often necessary to not use fertilizer for that watering. Iron has a tendency of reacting with many of the components of fertilizer solutions, and will cause nutrient lockup to occur. Read the labels of both the iron supplement...

OK here is plant #1 and here is plant #2 And finally here is plant #3 that is now budding. I gave it epsom salt when it showed the same signs as plant #2 and looking closer i think it helped. However i stopped giving it the salt when i saw the signs of the tip burn shown below. I think i...

Too much K? Too little Mag? PH? Yellow wilted leaves

Well after looking at the link, i think that it may be possible i might be confusing tip burn from over fert from possibly tip burn from too much heat. These are in a green house but the last few weeks the temps have been in the 90-100's range. I think 103F was the hottest and maybe averaging...

Well like i said before i have been giving it Nitrogen and it hasn't responded. "Plants will exhibit lack of vigor, slow growth and will be weak and stunted." "Leaf margins will not curled up noticeably" This is not true actually they are growing steadily and are not stunted as much as i...
