It should show signs of growth within the next two days if it was planted half inch deep.. if it takes any longer then most likely it is dead :\ good luck buddy

Usually you should give it about 1-4 days depending on how deep you planted the seed

My best say in this is to go with sunlight until you upgrade to a better light setup? and for water just give it a few drops like every 6 hours, thats what i did in my first week or so and it worked pretty well i would say, goodluck with this ! :)

the blacklight part definitley does NOT work, haha
