    (PICS) venting my dresser

Try a small layer of weather seal between the fan and board... It wouldn't hurt to replace the back with 1/8" hardboard, it's what I did so I could screw the fans into the back of my cabinet. You can get hardboard around $7 for a big piece at home depot (they can cut it for you there as well)

    Dresser stealth grow

Definitely a 150w HPS, I have a dresser a little bit smaller than that, but it lights up the entire thing great, just make sure you have good intake and outtake ventilation... and they'll do great. Check out the 150w HPS light at HTG Supply (search it on Google), it's a great light for a pretty...

    Pc grow idea !!!

Well setup the cooltube on the 150, and just take a temperature reading in there before you put any plants in, if it's within the right temperatures, then you should be good to go :) I'd be interested in making a cool tube, but I gotta figure out a way to still fit my reflector on? Maybe I...

    Pc grow idea !!!

Yes but it's overkill for the space, I had VERY well ventilated space that was bigger than a PC grow box, and it was way too hot. Granted I didn't have a cool tube, but I upgraded the size of my space to a stealth dresser instead. Here's a great bud grown under CFLs in a PC box...

    Pc grow idea !!!

The people are right, you're gonna be fighting temps, you should just use 27w CFLs, and have a couple, you wouldn't run the risk of burning your plants inside there, and the cool tube is gonna use up even more space, why not use that space for multiple CFLs? Just a friendly suggestion, but just...

    DWC bucket system (how?)

Thanks for the reply guys, I'm almost losing my patience with the DIY thing, and I don't have any aquarium stores in the area. I realize I could've saved 15$, I had already made a big purchase for supplies to the soil grow, if things do go well with this, I may however build myself a better...

    dresser grow under 150hps

Don't want anyone to think there wont be pictures posted in my journal here, I've just got to wait a week as I'm going on vacation, and I'll be building it as soon as I get back. Here's the blueprints to hold everyone over. Feedback appreciated :) There's going to be a fan on top of the...

    DWC bucket system (how?)

http://www.atlantishydroponics.com/Merchant5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=AH&Product_Code=BBDW500&Category_Code=APTFS I was checking out this DWC single bucket system, and I was wondering if anyone knows how this particular one works... whether it's a drip system or DWC and the pump...

    my stealth cabinet

Hmm 87, that's hot. 400w lamp seems a little big for that space, no? ...what are the dimensions of the your top room, and entire dresser (just curious, weighing options whether I should do storage/clones area, side by side with veg area, as to not lose height, instead of doing it below. I was...

    dresser grow under 150hps

I'm deciding to make it a self contained system, so there's gonna be separate cloning box/ballast storage/nutrient storage ventilated/isolated areas which will all be ventilated... the blueprints are complete. I might also do 2 soil 1 DWC bucket, just to experiment w/hydro growing. Just waiting...

    dresser grow under 150hps

Yeah, I used it on my last grow in very small amounts, because the plants were really sensitive to it... but it did produce results when not used in abundant amounts, which is part of the reason I'm upgrading the dresser. But thanks for the tip. I was also looking into Dyna-Gro Grow and...

    dresser grow under 150hps

Hi, this will be my 2nd grow, which I will be using a dresser, that I'm going to convert into a stealth grow area, for 3-4 plants growing under a 150HPS and maybe a couple fluorescent tubes on the sides if it doesn't get too hot in the dresser at first. My last grow, the 150HPS was getting...
