okay, I got another question, its about cfl's. I got 2 105w=400w cfl's on the way. i see that everyone keeps taliking about 400w hps. I was thinking that I could buy 2 more 105w=400w cfl's which would make me 420 actual watts with an equivalent of 1600 watts. I read somewhere to forget about...

are the ph liquid testers just as good as the electric or at least good enough to get the job done? I'm on a budget, thanks
