    1st cfl grow

    This remindes me of my last grow. I found out the hard way about starting a seed in a clay pot. I had issues transplanting it. I would recommend using plastic cups next time.You can just cut them of the rootball while you've got it in your next container. Happy growing.:-P

    Trichomes are where the THC is formed. How can you say looking at the trichomes is more of a fine tune? Oh by the way ive seen some pretty sweet pot grown that was harvested with less that 50% pistils turned red/brown,some not fully receided,and trichomes mostly amber, and this pot was killer on...

    Almost everywhere ive read anything about harvesting say's that trichomes are the one guaranteed place to look if you want to know when its ready. Pistil color, bud size and aroma can vary between different strains, but almost all species' trichomes go through the same level of development.:weed:

    How reflective is Aluminum Tape?

    For a small grow you should consider using the dispoable aluminum baking tray's and such from the dollar store. Just cut them to size and they should work just fine. I personally have 2 aluminum roasting pans being used as reflectors for my CFL grow lights and they work great (cheap and effective).
